Mentoring Program – Bio3 / Prof. Dr. Kurd Bollen
🎯 Objective
The goal of the program is to offer practical clinical mentoring for both beginner and experienced implantologists. The support includes guidance during first clinical cases as well as assistance with complex surgeries for advanced practitioners.
Participants are given the opportunity to perform surgical procedures under the supervision of an experienced and recognized mentor.
Bio3 provides free implants and a surgical kit for these procedures (conditions and details available from Bio3 representative Denis Steinbeck).

Prof. Dr. Kurd Bollen has over 27 years of experience in implantology and has placed more than 15,000 implants. He is familiar with over 70 different implant systems and has an extensive academic background with numerous lectures and publications in the field of implantology and periodontology.
Prof. Bollen is a key opinion leader and a recognized expert in the Bio3 implant system.

🧩 Program Structure
1️⃣ For Starters:
a. Online introduction to assess knowledge level – 1 hr
b. Online case presentation 2 weeks before surgery – 1 hr
c. Full-day surgical mentoring in your own clinic – 8 hrs
d. Online follow-up discussion 1 week after surgery – 1 hr
Total: 11 hours
Optional: a second surgical day can be added → 19 hours
The program can be repeated as needed.
2️⃣ For Advanced Practitioners:
a. Online introduction to clarify expectations – 1 hr
b. Online presentation of complex cases – 1 hr
c. Full-day surgical mentoring in your own clinic – 8 hrs
d. Online follow-up discussion 1 week after surgery – 1 hr
Total: 11 hours
Optional: a second surgical day can be added → 19 hours
The program can be repeated as needed.
💰 Costs
1️⃣ Covered directly by the participant to Prof. Bollen:

2 nights for 1 surgical day

Total amount: €3,400
Payment terms:

50% (€1,700) before the first online session

50% (€1,700) no later than 1 week before the surgical day
3️⃣ Required components & instruments for the surgery:
Bio3 provides a certain number of free implants and prosthetic components, as well as a surgical kit on a free-loan basis for complex surgical procedures.

📅 Availability
Booking should be made at least 2 months in advance, preferably 3 months ahead.
